The Captives formed in the summer of 1999. Tom Laman’s frantic lyric writing on paper towels upon hearing Eddie’s already first bars of what would soon become “Cobalt” spilling over from Eddie’s previous work, and then Tom’s new arrangements- The Captives assembled enough music for their debut Lp “In The Cobalt Twilight" (2001) A lineup solidified and a next Lp “ Dreams In Stars” followed (2008).
